about

Autism Connect is a non-profit organization that connects millions of autistic kids to spread awareness as well as raise money to help autistic kids. This organization began when we learned about the shocking truth that early intervention services are only provided to half of autistic children. Since 2000, the number of American children with autism has increased from 1 in 150 to 1 in 54 in 2016, and the number is now 1 in 44. These two facts opened our eyes to how fast autism rates are growing despite autistic children not receiving proper care. We started our organization because we realized how autism is rapidly growing. We wanted to help autism researchers gain support through this organization. With the help of the fundraisers, we plan on donating it to autism charities such as the Organization for Autism Research (OAR), which is known for its openness about its actions and finances to support the autism community and offer college scholarships to people with autism. We strongly encourage people to volunteer at the Autism Project.
